About the position

Pohanka Automotive is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Parts Counterperson. This position involves overseeing the parts sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating with various departments. Ideal candidates will be organized, team-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Complete special order part requests for customers
• Communicate with customers on parts status
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly & professional manner
• Follow all company safety policies & procedures
• Understand & follow federal, state & local regulations applicable to the industry

Requirements

• Experience with auto parts sales (preferred but not required)
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational & time management skills
• Detail-oriented with a professional appearance & strong work ethic
• Flexible availability for weekends
