About the position

The Parts Manager at Putzmeister is responsible for overseeing the Customer Support Department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for aftermarket needs. This role involves managing parts order processes, maintaining customer relationships, and leading a team to achieve departmental goals. The manager will also work collaboratively with other departments to enhance processes and drive parts sales.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain visibility of key department success/deficient indicators
• Ensure effective and timely process for parts order entry, quoting, returns, and invoicing
• Maintain customer parts discounts in ERP system
• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Manage staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
• Manage call center phone system to ensure proper staffing to accomplish low abandon rate
• Utilize CRM to monitor customer inquiries and allocate resources accordingly
• Develop standard reports on Aftermarket activities
• Handle customer issues and act as an escalation point
• Maintain e-commerce accounts
• Work with other departments to address issues and improve processes
• Maintain and establish accurate parts pricing
• Actively participate with other managers to grow and expand parts sales
• Develop a working knowledge of Putzmeister products
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

• 5 years of customer service experience
• Proficient in Salesforce
• Mid-level experience with Microsoft Office
• Supervising experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Mechanical knowledge
• Marketing experience
