About the position

As a Parts Manager at Mission Towing and Recovery LLC, you will oversee the efficient management of inventory, procurement, and logistics operations within the parts department of a repair facility. Your role will involve ensuring optimal stock levels, timely ordering of parts, and effective collaboration with service technicians to support automotive repairs. You will also be responsible for maintaining a well-organized warehouse and enhancing the efficiency of the supply chain process through your expertise in automotive parts management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the parts department of a repair facility, overseeing all aspects of parts operations
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of parts
• Collaborate with service technicians to identify and order necessary parts for automotive repairs
• Coordinate with equipment repair and auto repair departments to ensure availability of required parts
• Oversee shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage the organization and cleanliness of the parts warehouse
• Handle invoicing related to parts management

Requirements

• Previous experience in diesel/trailer repair or dealership parts department preferred
• Knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and their applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with service technicians, customers, and suppliers
• 1 year of mechanic experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
