About the position

The Parts Specialist at Kaizen Auto Care LLC plays a vital role in the repair process by managing the ordering, receiving, and monitoring of automotive parts. This position ensures that parts are accurately ordered and delivered in a timely manner, supporting the overall efficiency of the repair operations. The Parts Specialist collaborates closely with the General Manager, Estimators, and Body Technicians to maintain high standards of service and quality.

Responsibilities

• Order parts based on initial estimates and supplements utilizing the company prescribed ordering platform.
• Communicate with parts vendors to order necessary parts.
• Partner with General Manager and Estimators to ensure parts accuracy.
• Track parts status and update General Manager and Estimators accordingly.
• Receive and check in all delivered parts daily to ensure all parts are accounted for.
• Check quality and mirror match parts to damaged parts.
• Tag all received parts with the appropriate work order number.
• Initiate parts return to vendor immediately if the part is incorrect and complete all daily returns.
• Ensure all parts, invoices, and credits are posted as they are received, and all are posted daily.
• Assist location in monthly vendor reconciliation process.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work collaboratively with the team to meet shared objectives.
• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

• Experience with Parts Trader.
