Responsibilities

• Organize parts and materials for metal fabrication projects.
• Operate various shop equipment including saws, shears, press brakes, and welding machines.
• Read and interpret shop/detail drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Perform welding tasks, primarily using MIG welding techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of working with mild steel, welding, and sheet metal.
• Experience with MIG welding preferred; welding school experience considered.
• Ability to operate shop equipment such as grinders and polishing equipment.
• Strong math skills and ability to read shop/detail drawings.
• Self-reliant and independent worker with the ability to learn quickly.
