About the position

As a Parts Support Services Representative at John Deere, you will play a crucial role in providing dealer assistance related to parts availability and order management. This position involves training dealer personnel, investigating order issues, and supporting a high-volume contact center environment. Your contributions will help ensure that dealers have the most accurate and up-to-date information to serve their customers effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dealer assistance regarding parts availability, carrier changes, and backorder status.
  • Train and assist dealer personnel with electronic ordering and information systems.
  • Investigate system error messages on dealer orders and communicate with dealers as necessary.
  • Support the team's metrics while working in a high-volume contact center.
  • Assist with after-hours emergency contact line for dealers requiring assistance.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in customer service or a related customer-oriented environment.
  • 2 or more years of work experience in a team environment.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Good understanding of operating and information systems relevant to the role.
  • Knowledge of products and services offered by the appropriate area of responsibility.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using chat customer applications in a professional setting.
  • Degree or equivalent related work experience in Business/Management or Agriculture Sciences.
