About the position

The Parts Warehouse Associate at Nalley Hyundai is responsible for managing the receipt and distribution of automotive parts, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role involves working closely with team members to improve operational efficiencies and support a positive work environment. The associate will also be tasked with maintaining a clean and safe workspace while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess receipt of all incoming merchandise and maintain accurate records.
  • Seek ways to improve business operation efficiencies and customer service.
  • Support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
  • Maintain stock records and bins for quick access and prompt service.
  • Distribute complete orders to customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Review records of defective or damaged merchandise for proper claims completion.
  • Process incoming stock orders and customer returns to sustain workflow.
  • Complete required training as per company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to OSHA/EPA requirements.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Assist in processing customer payments accurately and timely.
  • Manage job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months or more related experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (if applicable).
  • Basic ability to read and write, and effectively convey information to others.
  • Active learning and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Larry H. Miller Dealerships' current company management systems.
  • Experience in customer service principles and processes.
