About the position

As a Party Host at Junior Playland, you will be responsible for ensuring that every birthday party and special event runs smoothly, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a fun and memorable experience for children and their families. Your role includes event setup, leading activities, and maintaining a clean environment throughout the event.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome party guests upon arrival.
• Set up party areas with decorations, food, and supplies.
• Lead fun activities and games, ensuring the party runs on schedule.
• Assist parents with any needs during the party, such as serving food and organizing cake cutting.
• Clean and reset the party area before, during, and after each event.
• Ensure all party supplies, decorations, and trash are properly cleaned up post-event.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the party and play areas at all times.
• Create a safe and enjoyable environment for children and families.
• Ensure excellent customer service by communicating clearly with guests.
• Create balloon arches and other decorative elements, if applicable.

Requirements

• Experience working with children (preferred but not required).
• Outgoing, energetic, and friendly personality.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleaning and organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with balloon arches or event decor is a plus and will be compensated accordingly.
