About the position
The Passenger Service Agent is responsible for providing assistance to airline passengers, particularly those with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met during their travel experience. This role involves greeting passengers, answering questions, and providing wheelchair services as needed, all while maintaining a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced airport environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet all passengers requesting extra assistance and create requests for wheelchair services.
- Answer questions and give directions to the general public.
- Provide service to airline passengers with disabilities by pushing wheelchairs or escorting them as requested.
- Conduct wellness checks to ensure passengers' needs are met.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Ability to physically perform required work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid State ID is required.
- Must pass State and Federal background checks.
- Professional appearance is necessary.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and responsible attitude is required.
- Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
