About the position

The Passenger Service Agent position at Trego Dugan Aviation involves providing exceptional customer service to airline passengers at the Pittsburgh International Airport. The role requires assisting customers with ticket processing, baggage handling, and providing information about flights and airport procedures. The agent will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations while assisting passengers with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Processing customers' tickets and checking baggage.
• Monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity.
• Assigning seats to passengers.
• Providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, and carry-on regulations.
• Handling denied boarding situations and accommodating customers with hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with FAA, airline, and airport regulations.
• Enforcing safety and security measures and protecting sensitive zones.
• Assisting customers with special needs, including wheelchair assistance.
• Cleaning and searching aircraft as required.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Must be well-groomed and physically fit.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986.
• Able to attend required training.
