Responsibilities
- Prepare and prosecute patents for domestic and foreign clients.
- Provide patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions.
- Support portfolio strategy and management.
- Conduct due diligence and litigation support.
- Address Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or related field.
- At least 2 years of full-time claim drafting and prosecution experience.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality patents in complex technologies.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- State bar and USPTO bar for Patent Attorney; USPTO bar for Patent Agent.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong expertise in kinematics, robotics, and related electro-mechanical engineering.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Willingness to pass the USPTO bar for Patent Agent Trainee.
