About the position

Northern Westchester & Phelps Memorial Hospitals are seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist with AP subspecialty training in Breast and/or Gynecologic pathology. This role is integral to the expanding team at these rapidly growing hospitals, which are part of the Northwell Health system, known for its state-of-the-art technology and world-class patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical pathology evaluations and diagnoses.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in tumor boards and other multidisciplinary meetings.
• Contribute to the academic mission through teaching and research activities.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP).
• Fellowship training or equivalent experience in breast or gynecologic pathology.
• Graduated from an ACGME accredited Pathology residency training program.
• Possess or be eligible to obtain an unrestricted New York State License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in general surgical pathology.
