About the position

The Amazon Pathways program is a three-year initiative aimed at rapidly developing experienced professionals into Senior Operations Managers. Participants will lead teams ranging from 100 to 800 employees, gaining visibility with senior leadership and opportunities for accelerated career growth within Amazon's operations network.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 4 managers and 400 employees after a thorough onboarding program as a front-line manager.
• Foster a strong Health and Safety culture.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively while motivating your team.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and customer experience.
• Be accountable for operational goals, strategic planning, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with senior management and support teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• MBA or Master of Engineering or Master of Science or PhD degree with graduation between 2023 and 2025.
• Available to join full time between February and July 2025.
• Between 3 and 10 years of complex professional experience (excluding internships and work studies) with responsibility for project management and delivery.
• Very good command of English (CEFR B2) and Italian (B2).
• Flexible to work in non-traditional shift patterns, which will include nights and weekends.
• Open to relocate within Italy both when joining and for the duration of the Pathways program (3 years).
• Analytical skills and sound business judgment.
