About the position
The Patient Access Associate at White House Clinics plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience by greeting patients, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate patient information. This position is integral to the clinic's operations, influencing patient flow and supporting the clinical staff in delivering high-quality care. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors promptly and pleasantly.
- Manage telephone traffic and answer incoming calls within two rings.
- Schedule patient appointments according to their convenience and clinic guidelines.
- Update and verify patient demographic and insurance information at every interaction.
- Monitor the waiting room to ensure timely patient flow and maintain a positive environment.
- Collect patient payments and inform them about the sliding fee program.
- Complete check-out procedures and follow up on no-show patients.
- Assist with other duties or in other departments as instructed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1-year medical office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient time management and organizational skills.

- Previous medical office experience preferred.
