About The Position

Responsible for the daily operations and coordination of health appointments for a designated patient population and to assure appropriate and timely communication/information regarding medical service, access, physician and service referral, and direction of services offered at the organization. Provides high quality scheduling experience for the designated patient population. Deploys excellent customer service engagement skills by phone.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or Licensed Practical Nurse License required.
  • Three (3) years of experience required.
  • Active status as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations of health appointments for designated patient population.
  • Ensure timely communication regarding medical services and referrals.
  • Provide high-quality scheduling experience for patients.
  • Engage with patients using excellent customer service skills by phone.
