Responsibilities

  • Handle and reconcile patient payments.
  • Monitor and reconcile issues prior to patient visits.

  • Coordinate appointments and ancillary services for patients.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance matters.
  • Coordinate patient instructional and educational activities.

Requirements

  • One year of customer service work experience is required; two years preferred.
  • Healthcare or call center experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization and billing requirements.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and the patient intake process.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
