About the position
The Patient Access Service Representative (PASR) plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional patient experience at the front desk of the Germantown Health Center. This position involves greeting patients and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The PASR is responsible for handling patient-facing needs both in person and over the phone, contributing to a positive healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Proactively greet patients and visitors at the front desk.
- Provide outstanding customer service in person and on the phone.
- Create a helpful, positive, and welcoming patient experience.
- Assist with patient access needs and inquiries.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a receptionist/assistant or in a customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
