About the position

The Patient Access Trainer at Kootenai Health is responsible for developing and conducting training programs for Registration Staff across various departments. This role ensures that staff are well-versed in regulatory procedures, documentation requirements, and department-specific computer operations. The trainer will also audit the effectiveness of training programs and maintain documentation related to training and employee performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and conducts training in departments on regulatory procedures, documentation requirements, and department specific computer operations.
  • Audits the effectiveness of department education and training programs and provides feedback to the employee on performance.
  • Maintains documentation of training, education, and new employee orientation.
  • Provides reports of quality, management, performance, educational activities, and program effectiveness to appropriate management staff.
  • Develops and implements monthly training schedule.
  • Works under broad supervision and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in a training or customer support capacity.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
