About the position

The trainer is responsible for performing all training duties, including pre-class preparation, delivering curriculum in various formats (classroom, online, one-on-one), and post-class tasks. The role focuses on mastering and delivering content across multiple subjects and applications, ensuring an exceptional training experience for associates. Ongoing support and training beyond the new hire and onboarding phases are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-class preparation and post-class tasks.
• Deliver curriculum in classroom, online/virtual, and one-on-one formats.
• Master and deliver content across multiple subjects and applications.
• Create an unrivaled training experience for associates.
• Provide ongoing support and training beyond new hire and onboarding phases.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to maintain continuing education requirements and certifications (e.g. ACLS, PALS, CPI, CPR).
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with staff, patients, and physicians.
• Ability to communicate positively in stressful situations.
• Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to accuracy.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with high mental concentration.
• Computer knowledge including electronic record entry and various software programs.
• Ability to operate fax, computer, and copy machine.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior medical office and/or hospital admitting experience including billing.
• Prior customer relations experience.
• Prior computer, keyboarding, and 10-key calculator experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
