Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely payment posting of insurance and patient payments.
- Keeps Daily Deposit Log up to date.
- Communicates any payor issues to collections department.
- Answers incoming calls regarding patient payments.
- Works closely with other departments and groups to resolve issues and exceed client service expectations.
- Verifies insurance in a timely manner for all necessary cases.
- Responsible for accurate billing data entry.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Medical office.
- Working with Medical Insurance.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
