About the position

The Patient Advocate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a medical cannabis dispensary. This role involves fostering a compassionate and respectful environment while assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring a positive experience. The Patient Advocate also supports the management team in daily operations and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledge and guidance on Premium Cannabis products to customers.
  • Resolve customer questions or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Accurately receive, coordinate, and fulfill customer orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment while keeping customer service as a priority.
  • Meet or exceed sales metrics by following the customer experience selling cycle.
  • Assist management in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment and treat all individuals with respect.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a cannabis retail setting preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience in hospitality, pharmacy, or retail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a medical or pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of cannabis products and their benefits.
