About the position

The Patient Care Advisor (PCA) at Far & Dotter Wellness Center & Spa is responsible for delivering a premium retail experience by providing exceptional guest service to patients, including those certified for medical cannabis, caregivers, and clients of the Holistic Pharmacy and Spa. The PCA assists with product education, selection, and purchasing, ensuring that every guest leaves with an elevated experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests, patients, peers, and vendors warmly and with a smile.
• Assist patients with their reason for visiting the Wellness Center, including checking in for the medical cannabis dispensary and Spa.
• Promote and manage the Far & Dotter Loyalty Program for new and existing guests.
• Provide an elevated experience to ensure guests leave delighted.
• Learn and accurately execute the point-of-sale (POS) system and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Educate patients about product assortments and associated health benefits.
• Participate in staff sales initiatives and understand daily, weekly, and seasonal promotions.
• Execute the picking and packing of retail orders and assist consumers in the wellness boutique.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic retail environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Previous experience in cannabis, retail, hospitality, or guest service sales.
• Strong guest service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to empathize with patients and understand their health challenges.
• Advanced understanding of the cannabis industry and products.
• Desire to work in a team environment and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
