About the position

This position involves both direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under the supervision of nursing or medical professionals, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and care during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient care activities under nursing or medical supervision.
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Take and record vital signs of patients.
- Obtain lab specimens as required.
- Chart patient information accurately.
- Escort patients to various locations as needed.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Manage clerical duties related to patient care.
- Order and receive medical supplies.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant degree or West Virginia C.N.A. license or PCT Certification required.
- CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
- Glucoscan certification within 90 days of employment.
- Documentation of an 80% or higher score on the Medical Terminology exam required.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred.
