About the position

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) position at Mercy Rehab Hospital in Chesterfield is a part-time role focused on providing individualized care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs). Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment in a healthcare career program preferred.
• Completion of a 175-hour training program provided by Mercy if no previous experience is available.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• Completion of PCA competencies within three months of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
