The primary responsibility of the Patient Care Coordinator is to conduct patient interviews for data collection by placing outbound calls to patients regarding the Pain Management infusion pumps' functionality and overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, ability to handle stressful situations, capacity to function independently, and the ability to document meticulously. Medical terminology is required; previous hospital or medical office experience is a plus. In this role, the ideal candidate will have medical terminology experience, listening skills, and the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients in a calm manner. Responsibilities include documenting detailed information given by the patient for any calls taken, accurately entering information into the web portal, and calling facilities for missing data, entering pump serial numbers along with patient data into Enterprise, and saving the information in the Company drive.
