About the position

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing patient service requests and scheduling mobile clinicians to meet those needs. This full-time position requires effective triage of incoming requests, prioritization based on various factors, and efficient communication with both clients and field staff. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Triage incoming phone, voicemail, fax, and web requests.
  • Accurately enter information in real-time into a web-based system.
  • Determine the current location of patients and available staff.
  • Create and update routes for clinicians based on various criteria.
  • Use text messaging to communicate accurate and timely information to field clinicians.
  • Continuously communicate with customers to gather information and provide updates.
  • Answer general business phone inquiries.
  • Participate in auditing of procedure notes and other incoming documentation.

Requirements

  • Outstanding internet computing skills including browsing, searching, and managing multiple browser tabs.
  • Experience or ability to learn Mac OS operating system.
  • Comfortable using Google Maps.
  • Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage three or more tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone, text, and email.
