About the position

The Patient Care Supervisor (PCS) at AdventHealth is responsible for the administrative supervision of the hospital during evening, weekend, and designated holiday hours. This role involves acting as a role model for the hospital's vision and values, ensuring compliance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide a patient-focused healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for administrative supervision of the hospital during evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Act as a role model for the vision and values of Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
• Ensure compliance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and associates to meet customer needs.
• Administer, supervise, and coach the accountable work team.

Requirements

• Kansas Registered Nurse License
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or obtained within 4 years of employment
