About the position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a crucial role in supporting patient care delivery in various departments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This full-time position involves assisting with patient needs and ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform tasks supportive to patient care in assigned departments.
• Maintain active licensure as required for the position.

Requirements

• Valid Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, or military corpsman.
• National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) must be maintained active during employment.
• Nursing students eligible for CNA exam must be enrolled in an accredited nursing school and have completed the first semester of clinical for ASN/BSN or first trimester for LPN.
• Certification of successful completion of a Florida State Board approved program for Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
