The Patient Care Technician (PCT) position at Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a part-time role focused on providing essential support services to patients and the nursing unit in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Requirements

  • Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program.
  • 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility.
  • Nursing student who has completed the first semester of the nursing program.
  • Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman.
  • Foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
