About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Radiology at ProMedica Health System is responsible for providing essential patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role involves assisting nursing personnel in various tasks while adhering to established healthcare standards and policies. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• STNA Certification is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Flexibility to float to other departments within the hospital as needed.
• Notary Public designation for completion of birth certificates (can be obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities necessary for the care of patients or groups of patients.
• Assist nursing personnel in all areas of patient care as required.
• Provide clerical and receptionist services as needed.
• Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Maintain a service-oriented attitude towards patients, physicians, families, and coworkers.
