The Patient Care Technician (PCT) at the Women's Clinic of Johnson County plays a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care within a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology practice. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent patient experiences and forming lasting relationships with patients. The PCT will work under the direct supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and will be responsible for a variety of delegated basic patient care services that are essential to common nursing functions. In this position, the PCT will be tasked with taking patient vital signs and weight, identifying patient concerns, and reporting them to clinical staff. The PCT will prepare lists of medical supplies needed and assist physicians during patient examinations, treatments, and testing. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of medical terminology and human anatomy, along with appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
