You will monitor patients before, during, and after their treatments, which includes measuring and recording vital statistics, observing patient conditions, and setting up hemodialysis machines. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis center.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
  • Measure and record vital statistics and patient observations.
  • Set up hemodialysis machines for patient treatment.
  • Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
  • Build long-term relationships with patients receiving treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles.
  • Ability to mix acid or bicarb as required.
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours, including shifts of 12+ hours.
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare experience, including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
