The Patient Coordinator role is essential for providing exceptional service to patients in a remote healthcare setting. Responsibilities
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding medications, treatment plans, and services.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments effectively using our telehealth platform.
- Accurately maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to address patient needs and ensure seamless care.
- Assist patients with understanding medication orders, refills, and treatment instructions.
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and managing digital files.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients with a focus on excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a telehealth, clinic, or healthcare customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Must have clinical experience as a medical assistant or similar.
