Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits before appointments.
- Greet parents and patients upon entering or leaving the office.
- Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk area.
- Ensure all patient files are ready before the patient's appointment.
- Coordinate with the Clinical Team Leader and Doctors for same-day care opportunities.
- Schedule follow-up operatory and six-month recall appointments for patients.
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments and reschedule as necessary.
- Collect any out-of-pocket balances from patients prior to treatment.
- Perform to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Entry-level position requiring less than 1 year of experience.
