About the position

The Patient Experience Specialist at Hearing Care Solutions is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the hearing healthcare industry. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth process for patients while maintaining accurate records. The position emphasizes the importance of communication, organization, and a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handling 30-60 inbound and outbound calls per day
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Guiding the patient through the HCS process, answering questions, and explaining benefit information
  • Maintaining patient files with detailed, accurate notes
  • Effectively communicate the HCS program details to patients in a clear and understandable manner
  • Supporting and communicating with other HCS departments
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' relevant work experience in a customer service position, or related field
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Demonstrate warmth and approachability
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

  • Spanish language proficiency
  • 1 year of customer service experience (Preferred)
