About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience in an orthopaedic practice setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient intake processes, including scheduling appointments and collecting necessary information.
• Conduct insurance verification to ensure coverage and out of network benefits discussed.
• Provide medical administrative support by maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist with front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering inquiries.
• Handle medical collections as needed, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with orthopaedic office staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.
• Utilize software for managing patient accounts and scheduling.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while providing exceptional customer service to patients.
