About the position

The Patient Outreach Specialist at Temple Physicians Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting practice sites by managing quality and operational tasks. This position serves as the primary contact for patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring effective communication with TPI staff and providers. The specialist is responsible for providing clinically relevant information, facilitating requests based on clinical urgency, and maintaining database compliance and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with quality and operational tasks at TPI practice sites.
  • Serve as the point of contact between patients, families, caregivers, and TPI practice staff and providers.
  • Communicate daily with patients and physicians through oral and written correspondence.
  • Provide appropriate and clinically relevant information to patients and facilitate requests within designated timeframes.
  • Maintain knowledge of several IT systems to ensure database compliance and integrity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
  • 2 Years experience in customer service and/or healthcare (Required).
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or Healthcare (Preferred).
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • General Experience communicating in Spanish (Bilingual) (Preferred).
  • General Experience in a managed care and insurance, physician practice or call center environment (Preferred).
