About the position

The Patient Representative at CareNow plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience by providing timely and compassionate care. This position involves checking in patients, verifying insurance, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. The representative serves as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive the support and information they need during their visit.

Responsibilities

  • Checks-in patients in a timely manner and ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed.
  • Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed.
  • Verifies insurance timely and accurately.
  • Ensures the occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collects necessary insurance and demographic information.
  • Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, ensuring all forms of payment are accounted for and documented.

Requirements

  • 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
  • Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
