About the position
Performs various job duties related to Patient Access responsibilities. Provides leadership for PSRs while working as a team player. Monitors productivity.
Responsibilities
- Performs all duties of the PSR-2 and PSR-MOB positions.
- Participates in the interview and hiring process for open positions within the department.
- Monitors productivity and actively contributes to continual process improvements.
- Addresses patient issues and concerns (phone; mail and walk-in) in a timely manner; while projecting a professional and caring image.
- Handles training and orientation.
- Coordinates coverage schedule for staff.
- Orders departmental supplies.
- Oversees day to day operations of the department.
- Participates in the annual review process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to type 35 wpm
- High school graduate or equivalent
