About The Position

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required.
• A minimum of three months previous business office or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine is preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology or coding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk coverage and support according to established policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments for patients.
• Greet patients and register new patients in the EPIC system.
• Schedule laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests as requested by physicians.
• Verify insurance eligibility and interpret covered benefits for patients.
• Process patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, and calculating adjustments.
• Receive and record payments in the computer system.
• Assist with clinic set-up and other office support tasks.
