Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Completion of courses in medical terminology, business, math, English, typing, and computer classes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of business office procedures and good written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with medical billing and coding is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
