The Patient Service Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional experience for patients at the outpatient physical therapy center in Cambridge, MD. This full-time position involves managing both patient interactions and business operations, contributing significantly to the overall care experience from the moment patients arrive at the front desk.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients and manage payer approvals, including conducting insurance authorizations and verifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Front Desk Experience
