The Patient Service Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional experience for patients at the outpatient physical therapy center in Millbury, MA. This position involves managing both patient interactions and the business operations of the center, contributing significantly to the overall care experience from the moment patients arrive until they leave.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients and manage payer approvals, including conducting insurance authorizations and verifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience.
