Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood and other laboratory specimens.
• Perform EKG tracings and maintain related records.
• Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare team members.
• Attend to the personal needs, safety, and comfort of patients.
• Transport patients and maintain equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Training program and phlebotomy course required.
• Current R.I. Department of Health CNA license and CPR certification required.
• Certificate of completion of phlebotomy training program required.
• Good telephone, interpersonal, and writing skills essential.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately relate technical information.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in the English language.
