Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in patients for their appointments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and staff to troubleshoot and meet patient needs.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for administrative functions such as appointment confirmation and updating patient demographics.
  • Schedule appointments and enter referrals as needed.
  • Provide information about insurance coverage and collect copays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Twelve months of experience in healthcare or customer service industry, or currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced team environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills and comfort with navigating multiple applications simultaneously.
