About the position

The Patient Services Representative at Viverant Physical Therapy is responsible for patient registration, check-in, and providing administrative support while ensuring excellent customer service. This full-time role operates primarily from the Lakeville location, with potential travel to other sites, and includes a sign-on bonus for new hires committed for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register physical therapy patients.
• Obtain and verify insurance information and signatures from patients at registration.
• Enter new or changed patient information into the system prior to appointments.
• Communicate courteously and respectfully with patients and guests.
• Prepare patient charts and maintain waiting areas.
• Monitor incoming faxes and new referrals.
• Assist with pre-operative phone calls as needed.
• Report occurrences related to employee and patient events through established processes.
• Support the developmental and educational process of colleagues and students.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Administrative or medical office experience preferred.
