The Patient Services Representative plays a crucial role in the daily administrative functions of the clinic, supporting patients while adhering to company policies and standards. This full-time position involves various responsibilities including reception, medical records management, switchboard operations, referrals, and scheduling, all aimed at providing excellent customer service in a family medicine setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative functions of the clinic
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Accurately enter and review patient data in the EMR
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns in a calm manner
  • Prioritize and multitask on multiple projects
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Support patient flow within the clinic

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in using standard computer and office equipment
  • Good spelling, grammar, typing, data entry, and phone skills
  • Ability to establish effective employee relationships in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to process and procedure changes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced learning environment
