About the position

The position is responsible for customer service at the reception area for all incoming and outgoing patients. This includes scheduling all future appointments for patients both in person and over the telephone, as well as balancing the daily cash receipts. Duties also involve answering and routing calls, and scheduling and following up on appointments. The role is directly supervised by the Patient Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the reception area for incoming and outgoing patients.
  • Schedule future appointments for patients in person and on the telephone.
  • Balance daily cash receipts.
  • Answer and route calls effectively.
  • Schedule and follow up on patient appointments.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited high school or GED.
  • Experience in verifying insurance.
  • Experience in screening, registering, scheduling, and following up with patients' appointments.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
