About the position

The Patient Solutions Customer Service Representative role involves engaging with patients to collect payments and resolve outstanding account balances. This position is essential for ensuring that patient accounts are managed effectively and that payments are processed in real-time. The representative will work primarily during normal business hours with occasional Saturday shifts, focusing on customer service within a medical billing context.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to collect patient payments
  • Resolve outstanding account balances by processing real-time payments over the phone
  • Document call notes on patient's accounts
  • Make 7-8 calls per hour

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role
  • Knowledge of health insurance or a medical billing background is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortability with long periods of stationary work
