The PAU-Stanford PsyD Consortium Program Coordinator (CPC) plays a vital role in the success of the PsyD program and its students. This position is responsible for developing and improving the effectiveness of organizational processes and collaborates closely with the Consortium Director of Clinical Training (DCT), Psychology Department Manager, and other PAU departments regarding the execution of school processes and procedures. The CPC will manage the day-to-day relationship between Palo Alto University (PAU) and Stanford faculty and staff, ensuring adherence to institutional guidelines and agreements. This role requires independent management and evaluation of the PsyD Consortium's daily operations, including the development, interpretation, and implementation of university policies and procedures for students and faculty. In addition to program operations, the CPC will manage student data within the University ERP system, track students' academic progress, and ensure compliance with regional/APA accreditation standards and Department of Education regulations. The role also involves recruiting, hiring, and managing student assistants, providing support during the admissions season, and managing a practicum database for graduate students seeking clinical training. The CPC will plan, coordinate, and participate in organizational activities, events, and workshops, as well as create and manage program external web pages. Scheduling responsibilities include orchestrating comprehensive exams, developing course schedules, and coordinating faculty schedules with the DCT. The ideal candidate will possess a strong service-oriented mentality, demonstrated managerial and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively analyze and problem-solve. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with FERPA regulations. The CPC will work independently and collaboratively to develop effective relationships with students, faculty, administration, and external groups, while also appreciating and reaching out to culturally diverse communities.
